Meghan Markle has made history again…

All thanks to her royal style file
The style of Meghan Markle has evolved since her acting days to becoming the Duchess of Sussex and now, her royal wardrobe is being recognised...

It’s been well over a month since the world witnessed Meghan Markle turn into a royal as she wed Prince Harry in a custom-made Givenchy dress by Clare Waight Keller, and since then, all eyes have been on the newly titled Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

We’ve seen the royal couple make their first outing as a married pair to celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, then we spotted Meghan Markle alongside the Queen in Cheshire and most recently at  Royal Ascot (where she donned yet another Givenchy ensemble).

The Duchess of Sussex’s style file has remained classic and contemporary and now, she’s officially being recognised as a style icon.

The Teen Choice Awards (set to take place on August 12) has nominated the British royal for a Choice Style Icon, marking the first time a royal has ever been considered for an award. Meghan has been nominated alongside Blake Lively, Chadwick Boseman, Migos, Zendaya and Harry Styles (who just fronted Gucci’s new Tailoring Campaign).

However, this nomination is not the only one Meghan has under her belt at the moment. Earlier this month, news emerged that the royal has also been put forward for consideration for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her work as Rachel Zane on the TV hit series, Suits.

Meghan Markle is set to make an appearance alongside Prince Harry at the Young Leaders Reception at Buckingham Palace, so make sure to watch this space.
