Since Daniel Lee took over the reigns at Bottega Veneta in July, we’ve been eagerly waiting to see what he would bring to the table.
And now, that wait is over.
After skipping the last season of Milan Fashion Week, Lee officially made his debut today as he released his first collection for the Italian label.
Since his appointment, Lee has been crafting the brand’s latest Pre-Fall ’19 collection and it boasts some seriously cool separates that merge the brand’s heritage (such as the signature Intreccacio weave into large proportions) with Lee’s minimalist-yet-edgy aesthetics, which carry over from his days at Celine.
The 69-piece collection is at once practical and seriously cool. Case in point: this off-white trench coat and those aquamarine boots…
Lee’s official debut on the runway will take place during fashion week in February and if this is a sign of things to come, we’re already sold.
