Celine relaunches e-commerce platform with Hedi Slimane’s first pieces

Now available for purchase
If you've been waiting to get your hands on Hedi Slimane's first designs for Celine, you're in luck as the brand's e-commerce platform is back up and running...

Last month, Hedi Slimane made his highly anticipated debut for Celine during Paris Fashion Week. In the lead-up to the show, the brand suspended its e-commerce platform, announcing that it would relaunch after the show. And now, it has.

Overnight the French brand revealed its new-look platform and with it, a selection of designs by Hedi Slimane. There’s no ready-to-wear available on site yet (although the brand says it is coming) but if you’ve been keen to get your hands on the designer’s debut bag for the label (which was spotted on Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga ahead of the show), you now can. The “16” is now available for purchase in a range of satinated calfskin hues and grained calfskin, as well as crocodile and lizard in small and medium sizes.

There’s also the new C bag, the Triomphe bag, the C charm bag and a range of other leather accessories available.

If you’re also interested in purchasing some Phoebe Philo-era Celine pieces, the site has the current collection (aka Phoebe’s last) available, too.
