There has been a slew of regional names popping up on our radars recently and the list includes brands such as Kuwaiti brand LaBourjoisie (who dressed Kylie Jenner for her 21st birthday bash), Bahrain-based label Amal Al Mulla (which is now exclusively available on The List) and Three Fifty Nine (who was announced as the winner of the DDFC x FAB Dubai Fashion Scout Prize).
Now, there’s a new Middle Eastern name that deserves some time in the spotlight this season.
Noor The Label is a Dubai-based brand that follows the motto “elegance is modesty” and with its traditional cuts and timeless silhouettes, it’s the perfect fit for the region.
Complete in a traditional black colour palette, the abayas are as light as they are effortless with embellished emerald green glass beads, graphic details, leaf patterns, pleating details and cut-outs.
Speaking of the collection, Founder and Designer Noor exclusively told Buro 24/7 Middle East that “the reason Noor the Label is a favourite among young women is because it understands the modern woman and her needs.”
Of the collection, Noor explained: “With the use of feathers and natural stones, it would be evident that this collection was influenced by nature and coalesce of fabrics. What you may not know is that I was somewhat inspired by my friend. She has the affinity for black abayas with tasteful amounts of detail inspired by global fashion.”
