The Duchess of Sussex goes vintage for her first NYC outing

In town for her baby shower
Meghan Markle is in NYC for a few days and she made her first fashion-forward outing overnight...

The Duchess of Sussex is just a few months away from welcoming her first child with Prince Harry but that doesn’t mean she’s slowing down. With a trip to Morocco scheduled for this weekend, the Duchess is currently in New York for a few days to celebrate her impending arrival with 15 of her closest friends and she made her first public outing today.

Stepping out of The Mark hotel with Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, Meghan wore a vintage Courrèges silk trapeze coat, reported by Fashionista to have been sourced from William Vintage. She paired the statement piece with skinny black jeans from Hatch, Le Specs Air Heart sunglasses, a Carolina Herrera tote and Stuart Weitzman shoes.

The pair headed to the Met Breuer museum before making their way to The Surrey hotel. Soon after, they arrived back at The Mark to attend her baby shower, it is believed.

Following that, Meghan was spotted arriving at The Polo Bar (wearing the Victoria Beckham coat she wore to the 2018 Christmas service) with Serena Williams and Jessica Mulroney.

The Duchess is reportedly in town for five days, so we suspect we might be in for a few more sartorial sightings in the days to come.

Until then, find out when we’ll see Kate Middleton’s green thumb handiwork on display
