Back in July, ahead of debut show at London Fashion Week for Burberry, Riccardo Tisci announced that his first collaboration for the brand would be with none other than Dame Vivienne Westwood. At the time, the designer said, “Vivienne Westwood was one of the first designers who made me dream to become a designer myself and when I first started at Burberry, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to approach her to do something. She is a rebel, a punk an unrivalled in her unique representation of British style, which has inspired so many of us. I am so incredibly proud of what we will be creating together.”
Now, the first glimpse at the collection has finally been revealed overnight. The brand shared a grainy video to Instagram Stories that showed what looked to be a reworked Burberry check, Westwood-style, and a pair of incredibly high platform heels.
The only other detail given in the clip was that the collection will launch on December 6. Mark your calendars.
