This year’s Emirati Women’s Day is being celebrated tomorrow on August 28 with the theme, ‘Women on the Course of Zayed.’ The day was first introduced in 2015 and is now in its fourth year, continuing to highlight the success and contribution of Emirati women to society.
To celebrate this year’s occasion, Fujairah-based designer Madiyah Al Sharqi has teamed up with regional e-commerce giant The Modist on a collection of tops. Available in three designs, you can choose from Incredible Woman, Fearless Woman and Empowered Woman — or you can buy all three. The cotton shirts feature the slogans in both Arabic and English which are finished in black with a soft pink shadow.

Speaking of the collection, Madiyah said in a statement, “Empowered Emirati women have fearlessly contributed to the advancement and growth of the UAE across various fields for many years and I am delighted to play a part in celebrating their incredible achievements.” Ghizlan Guenez, the Founder of The Modist, added, “The UAE is home to women who are empowered, fearless and incredible, and that is what we stand for at The Modist.
