As many of us eagerly wait to jet off for the summer, Fendi has already taken flight, landing on the tranquil shores of Spain. To celebrate the carefree spirit of summer, Fendi has flocked to the Spanish coast, taking over two beach resorts – the Marina Botafoch in Ibiza and the Puente Romano Resort in Marbella. Here, guests and visitors of the resorts can discover and shop the Maison’s newly-launched ‘Astrology’ Summer Capsule 2023 collection. Aptly named, the Fendi ‘Astrology’ Summer Capsule 2023 collection–drawing inspiration from the brand’s archival Spring/Summer 1990 and Spring/Summer 1993 collections– is a reflection of Fendi’s past and present, designed for the summer that stretches ahead.
At the Marina Botafoch in Ibiza, the Italian Maison takes up a temporary 60 square meters space, where the mesmerizing ‘Astrology’ Summer Capsule 2023 collection is brought to life in a vibrant atmosphere. Running through the summer, Fendi’s Marina Botafoch boutique will welcome shoppers from May 30 to October 2023.
Starting on June 13, the Puente Romano Resort in Marbella will house a special Fendi activation. To commemorate the opening of the new three-storeyed Fendi boutique in Puerto Banus, the brand is taking over the Chiringuito restaurant within the property. The bohemian-style beach restaurant will be treated to a Fendi-esque makeover with vibrant prints and colors typical of the Maison upholstered on furniture, cushions, and other textiles. The table set up at the restaurant will echo the striped theme of the Fendi ‘Astrology’ Summer Capsule collection featuring red and white placemats complemented by Fendi zodiac-stamped potteries. Guests at the Chiringuito can also explore a unique Fendi pop-up store–presenting key items of the new collection along with Maison’s bestsellers–a few steps from the restaurant.
That’s not all; the resort’s beachfront will welcome sun-seekers to Fendi-branded al fresco lounges characterized by pillows in varying sizes and colors, from red to yellow, with soft carpets in beige hues. Bespoke Fendi-inscribed water sports equipment like sail boats will be available to rent.
