Several fashion brands have faced chaos caused by the pandemic, and it has resulted in a slew of cancelled runway shows and the introduction of new formats rather than the traditional calendar such as Michael Kors and Saint Laurent’s latest moves.
Now, Burberry is the first to announce a solid plan for September — the biggest month on the fashion calendar.
Creative Director Riccardo Tisci will present the British brand’s new Spring/Summer ’21 collection in an outdoor space. The show is slated for September 17 and all are welcome as the show will be available to experience virtually for those unable to travel.
Could this be a sign that the fashion calendar might be returning back to normal? We’ll just have to wait and see if other brands follow suit.
