AMI to launch a capsule collection with K-Way

And it'll bring out the child in you
Yet another capsule collection is in the works for Fall, but this particular range is perfect for when the temperature drops...

Just last month, French brand AMI was revealed to be part of Mr Porter’s ‘Vive La France’ capsule collection series (for which 14 French designers designed exclusive capsules for the site inspired by the lifestyle and culture of France), and it unveiled its latest S/S ’19 collection during Paris Fashion Week.

Now, the luxury label has just announced some more exciting news —AMI Alexandre Mattiussi has collaborated with K-Way on a capsule collection for the autumnal season.

Working with K-Way’s signature windbreakers that embody the French brand’s heritage and blending them with AMI’s codes (which include colourful stripes, oversized silhouettes and a mixture of fabrics), the pieces are both playful and masculine.

Mattiussi is a long-time fan of the label and used to wear K-Way’s signature windbreakers as a kid, and still does even today. According to WWD, the designer explained that he “shares a design philosophy with K-Way that is casual, elegant and wearable, so the brands were easily fused.”

In the meantime, find out when the Victoria Beckham x Reebok capsule collection will be available
