Johnny Coca joins the Louis Vuitton family

In March, Johnny Coca officially bid adieu to his post at Mulberry as Creative Director and now, we know where he’s set to inject his brilliant creativity. Joining Nicolas Ghesquière and the rest of the Louis Vuitton family, Coca has been appointed as Women’s Fashion Leather Goods Director, effective June 2nd, 2020. We can’t wait to see what he’ll bring to the table! 

Gucci announces it’s going seasonless

The current pandemic has most certainly affected the way we shop and look at fashion, and whilst we think of what the future of fashion holds, several brands have announced their own personal take on revolutionizing the industry. 

Gucci’s Alessandro Michele did just that, sharing his thoughts and efforts through a written diary-style entry, titled “Notes From the Silence”, posted via social media. 

Reimagining his approach to fashion, here are a few things to expect: 
– The shows will be coed
– Gucci will not show this September
– The brand will reduce the number of fashion shows a year 
– The brand’s website will soon unveil a gender-fluid section called Gucci MX
