Balenciaga, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and more to pay tribute to Alber Elbaz

'Love Brings Love'
To round off Paris Fashion Week, a fashion show in honour of the late Alber Elbaz will take place...

Some of the world’s most respected fashion houses and designers are coming together to pay tribute to the ever-so-great Alber Elbaz – a man who was larger than life, a brilliant couturier, a legacy in the industry.

Under AZ Factory, the fashion start-up founded by the late Alber Elbaz and Richemont in 2019, the brand has confirmed its participation on the Paris Fashion Week calendar this season with a ‘Love Brings Love’ show in honour of the late designer, and revealed a collaborative catwalk show with 44 houses and designers.

It has always been the designer’s dream of uniting friends from the industry and so, with the help of those who loved him, designers will provide one look for the occasion, whether it’s a bespoke creation inspired by Alber’s legacy or a special take on an iconic silhouette.

According to a statement released by AZ Factory, the show’s concept is inspired by Théâtre de la Mode, “a 1945 Parisian exhibition which brought together over sixty French couturiers as a beautiful expression of creativity, prestige, and solidarity in the wake of World War II.”
