It’s been a great day for menswear so far. Aquazzura (who just opened its first flagship boutique in the UAE) has just announced that the brand will launch menswear with Edgardo Osorio in Dubai to share the news, and this was shortly followed by some exciting news from Mr Porter. Namely that it will be releasing the third collection for its Mr P. label.
Since the in-house label’s debut collection in 2017, Mr P. has already launched two collections that have enjoyed immense success around the globe.
The ultimate destination for menswear collections, Mr Porter will launch Mr P.’s latest collection next week and we’ve got a sneak peek at the 34-piece ready-to-wear collection. According to Mr Porter’s Style Director, Mr Olie Arnold, the new collection “is all about playing on tradition through relaxed silhouettes, fabrics and cut.”
Brimming with the perfect ensembles for the Spring/Summer ’18 season, Mr P. has introduced shorts for the first time, which come in a series of relaxed cuts and an easy-to-match colour palette.
Speaking of the collection, Arnold continued: “I love how this collection mixes a rugged ‘shipyard’ style with a more sophisticated ‘naval’ vibe but is then reinterpreted and made contemporary with Mr P.’s signature aesthetic. Mr P.’s philosophy is that each piece can be transitioned into men’s wardrobes and worn now, so I’m looking forward to see how our customers embed these pieces through their own original style.”
