This year the BAFTAs was a chemistry of virtual red carpet and those physically present at the Royal Albert Hall for the ceremony. Those who could not attend IRL, due to the all mighty obvious, made cameos via a live video link. Whatever the situ, the style statements made their way onto the ‘gram, naturally. Pieces of a Woman lead, Vanessa Kirby, stole the show in an Atelier Versace dress, styled with Cartier jewels. As Donatella Versace commented on Instagram: “Breathtakingly regal.”
CYNTHIA ERIVO’S PARTY GLAMOUR
Aretha star, Cynthia Erivo injected a dose of high voltage glamour to the red carpet in a jewelled mini-dress from Louis Vuitton’s 2021 autumn-winter collection, paired with gold heels and high-jewellery.
ROSE BYRNE’S LUXE TAILORING
Australian actress Rose Byrne opted for a jewel-encrusted, flesh-baring Miu Miu suit ensemble, styling her look with a pair of statement asymmetrical earrings.
PRIYANKA CHOPRA JONAS’ ECO-COUTURE
The presenter of the 2021 BAFTAs, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, made a sustainable style statement – opting for a black silk mikado Ronald Van Der Kemp couture jacket with a hand-painted butterfly appliqué, styled with a matching plissé skirt (all made from upcycled fabrics from the previous RVDK collections).
EMERALD FENNELL’S CLOSE ENCOUNTERS
The Original Screenplay winner for Promising Young Woman, Emerald Fennell, appeared in an ethereal ivory custom Roland Mouret gown (the French designer is a friend of hers, and she is often spotted in his creations), and the jewels by her father, Theo Fennell.

Renée Zellweger was spotted in a shimmering light green sleeveless Armani Privé cocktail dress, with razor-sharp detailing and classic pumps.
KOSAR ALI’S NEW ROMANTICISM
Rocks star and nominee for Best Supporting Actress, Kosar Ali, attended her very first BAFTA ceremony, in custom-made Alexander McQueen. Dreamy.
