In November, Aquazurra gave us a reason to fall in love with its stylish designs even more, due to a Middle Eastern exclusive of the brand’s partnership with German model Claudia Schiffer. Now, we’ve got another reason for you to add the brand’s new Spring/Summer ’18 range to your footwear collection.
Whilst looking towards different influences for the new collection, the luxury Italian footwear label drew inspiration from India and the iconic decade of the ’90s to craft a beautiful collection of kitten heels, sling backs and mules.
The man behind the brand, Creative Director and Founder Edgardo Osorio, travelled to Rajasthan where he incorporated inspirations from traditional saris, precious embroideries, different textures and vivid colours into his newest collection.
Complete with embroidered mirrors, gold elements and the country’s native flowers, the styles are beautifully crafted from linen fabrics, suede and delicate silks that were used in the hand-woven pom-poms.
