Under the Italian sun with Tod’s

Codes celebrated through a joyous narration
Modern craftsmanship, savoire-vivre and artistic volumes remain in the spotlight…

If there’s a direction Tod’s is currently heading towards, it’s exuding the message of wearability with clothes that are polished and come with a balanced fashion sense.

Under the Creative Director of Walter Chiapponi – who has defined a new aesthetic for Tod’s since his appointment in 2021 – the new Spring/Summer ’22 collection inflects the house’s casual wear codes with contemporary sophistication, something we are so here for.

Revealed during Milan Fashion Week, the collection draws on elements of lightness featuring silhouettes that are sporty and urban. With materials that range from jersey to the finest leathers, threads are placed together to create a wardrobe of counterpoints: think short trench coats, masculine jackets, mini denim dresses, windbreakers, biker jackets and lightweight parkas.

The ready-to-wear collection was then energized by a plethora of accessories and footwear. Continuing to celebrate the iconic Italian lifestyle through moments of joy, nonchalance and craftsmanship, the new footwear styles embodied the brand’s codes – think sandals and sneakers reimagined with macro rubber soles, T Timeless loaders and ankle boots come with a heightened platform, and kitten-heeled pointed shoes boasting ladylike slenderness.

On the accessories front – which we are all a fan of – the small and compact T Timeless handbag comes in an array of classic brand colours including brick and brown, followed by vivid shades of yellow, turquoise and bright red.
