Shimmering into the festive season is Prada’s new holiday collection – one that combines occasion and casual, evening and day – unified and elevated through tones of gold, luxe materials, sparkling applications and incredible tailoring.
Embracing the occasion of the everyday (which is fundamentally Prada), the holiday collection consists of womenswear and menswear pieces that take a twist on your usual festive dressing with radiant liquid metallic lurex knits, shaggy fur coats and slender black dresses whilst the ethos of preciousness expands to sparkling applications, crystal gleaming like a second skin.
For men, it’s all about ease and comfort tailoring that remained sleek and sharp. This was brought through in suiting, track separates, linen-cotton ensembles and silk-linen knitwear, as well as the holiday-favourite cardigan – proposed as a new classic.
Prada’s festive selection was also rounded out with a plethora of timeless Prada accessories, now revisited in gold and precious metal tones. The Prada Thunder sneakers are sprayed with metallic hues, whilst a selection of Prada handbags, spanning 1990s to today, are reinterpreted in pure gold. For example, the Cleo, Prada Re-Edition 1995, the Galleria and the Panier are proposed, alongside the 2022 Triangle clutch, in crystal, embossed metallic leathers, signature saffiano and spazzolato, in all gold.
