Ok. So, if it wasn’t obvious before, then it certainly is now. Fendi has definitely set the trend for logomania last year with their plethora of capsule collections that targeted millennials and well, our bank accounts, too.
With neon being one of this season’s hottest trends, the luxury Italian house is yet again, one step forward, and released an entire capsule collection dedicated to the trend.
Set to take our obsession to the next level with bright sartorial choices, Fendi has launched another millennial-driven collection in partnership with the renowned graffiti artist, Pref.
The British artist first worked with the fashion house last year together on the FF Series’ FF Reloaded launch event in London and now, he has developed Fendi’s Roma Amor logo in two different variations — both eye-catching graphics for sure. See the exclusive video campaign here…
In the collection (comprised of ready-to-wear and accessories for women, men and kids) the new Fendi Roma Amor wave appears with an all-over FF pattern plastered onto silhouettes — think bomber jackets, body-hugging dresses, jumpsuits and wardrobe staples. The collection was then adorned with parallelepiped patterns, rainbow-inspired inserts and contrasting details (trims, buttons, stitching and zippers), all worked in bold neon tones.
The bright colour palette also marks the brand’s signature Selleria Cuoio Romano leather of the Peekaboo, the Baguette or Mon Trésor bucket in all sizes, which all receive a pop makeover. In addition to that, the capsule collection’s Peekaboo X-Lite, the Baguette and the micro Mon Trésor bags are re-worked in the jacquard FF logo.
As well, the new collaboration will see selection of sunglasses in partnership with South Korean brand, Gentle Monster. There will be two unisex styles available — one in metal and the other in metal and acetate.
Fendi’s Roma Amor capsule collection will drop in select stores across the globe including in Mall of the Emirates, in Dubai, UAE and The Avenues, in Kuwait on May 14, 2019. Make sure to mark your calendars.
