In 2018, Maria Grazia Chiuri bravely revived the timeless beauty of one of Dior‘s iconic handbags: the Dior Saddle bag. It has won the world over (yet again) and has fast become an iconic piece seen on the arm of just about every street style star and editor you can think of.
Now, with a few days to go before welcoming another season of Fashion Month, we’re certain we’ll be seeing the fash pack with a reinterpreted version of the arm candy.
For Autumn/Winter ’19, the maison’s first female head reimagined the Dior Saddle bag in a precious denim version, embroidered with one of the house’s iconic motifs: the Dior Oblique canvas created by Marc Bohan in 1967.
To celebrate the fresh look of the icon, you’ll be able to personalise that new (yet vintage-looking) bag with your initials in a selection of Dior boutiques.
A tribute to the equestrian world, the Saddle bag is beautifully crafted by the maison’s experts and below, you’ll be able to discover the savoir-faire behind the new version of the timeless piece.
