If you’ve been to Palm Jumeirah this weekend, then you’ve probably come across the larger-than-life version of Burberry‘s new ‘Olympia’ bag. Displayed in front of the Dubai Marina skyline at Palm West Beach in Palm Jumeirah, the brand’s new Dubai launch is part of its takeover of global landscapes, following last month’s London’s river Thames, beginning its journey at Royal Victoria Dock and various other locations.
The bag – which first made its debut at Burberry’s Fall/Winter ’20 show – features a unique curved silhouette that has been hand-moulded on a wooden block to create its structure and then meticulously finished by hand and its edges finely painted.
Available in Burberry’s classic warm tan and other classic colourways including black, burgundy, pale blue, warm sand and deep orange in mini, it’s the perfect piece of arm candy to flaunt this summer – and for years to come.
The Olympia will be live at the iconic Dubai location until July 10.
