The trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s new movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt has landed

Set for release on 26 July
We already know Quentin Tarantino’s new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt is going to be summer’s blockbuster hit…

It’s going to be a big summer for Quentin Tarantino, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. First of all, it’s DiCaprio’s big screen return after his last cinematic – and Oscar-winning – success in The Revenant. And second of all, his next film is directed by Tarantino and stars Pitt too – a recipe for sucess? We think so…

His new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the makings of a blockbuster hit. The film’s premise takes audiences back to the height of hippie Hollywood into the world of a faded TV actor and his stunt double, who strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles.

And we *finally* have the trailer to watch (over and over again)…

According to Variety, the star-studded project has been a long time in the making. Tarantino commented in response to the trailer coming out, “I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A. and a Hollywood that don’t exist anymore.”

The film also stars Margot Robbie Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, and Bruce Dern, so it’s a pretty big deal. And, while it’s not totally confirmed yet, the film is expected to premiere this May at the Cannes Film Festival, where Tarantino won the Palme d’Or exactly 25 years ago for Pulp Fiction.

Either way, we are waiting for 26 July for its release.

Until then, see which iconic toy Margot Robbie is touted to play next.
