It’s been an exciting 48 hours for the British royal family, to say the least. On Monday, May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child, a son.
And whilst we’ve been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of baby Sussex (we finally got a brief look at the baby boy earlier today) as the royal trio were photographed for the first time as a family at Windsor Castle, we couldn’t help but wonder what the newborn’s name is.
However now, the wait is over as the name of the Queen’s eighth great-grandchild has finally been revealed.
Everyone, meet Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The royal baby has already been introduced to the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and to Meghan’s mum, Doria, as they gathered at the Windsor Castle to meet the latest bundle of joy.
Ok, we know we need to let the new family actually spend quality time together but we’re already looking forward to their next official outing!
Now, see how Prince William lovingly welcomed his brother to parenthood.
