There’s no denying that the cultural scene in Saudi Arabia is currently booming and if you’re on the lookout for local talents and artists from the Kingdom, an exciting festival is shedding the light on them (and plenty more) through a unique and creative experience.
SOL is a three-day festival that is enriching on so many levels when it comes to art and music. Its inaugural edition kicks off today in Jeddah and there will be plenty to do and see – think experiencing live music, an extensive street food market, a fashion bazaar and art installations from both regional and international talents.
And if that wasn’t enough to get you to jet-set to Jeddah, the location of SOL is enough to do so. Taking place at Buhairat Beach, you’ll feel transported as you dance the night away with the sea as the ultimate backdrop.
On day one (July 21), the spotlight falls on hip-hop, RnB, alternative and soul genres where you can expect to see local headliners performing including DJs Nileboi, Zii, Kali-b, Ntitled from Riyadh, Pre Kai Ro, Jeed, Shiloh Meets World, Al Young & Randar, Shaolin, Saud, and newcomer Aziz.
Day two is all about dancing to the beats of house, techno, melodic and EDM as talents such as DJs Dul, M. Box, Jeme, Things You Say, ETH from Italy, Enzo GD, and Nic Fanciulli will take to the stage.
And on the final day, the festival will end with a fusion of musical experiences brought to you by Solskin, Chiati, Nic, Ali Farahani, Benjemy, Alsharif Mahlab, and Jeddah’s very own up-and-coming superstar Mishaal.
The SOL Festival will take place at Buhairat Beach, Jeddah, from July 21–23, 6pm–2am. Gates open from 4pm. Get your tickets here.
