Priyanka Chopra and Mindy Kaling have come together for a wedding comedy. Excited, much? Oh boy, we are.

According to Variety, Universal Pictures will be developing the film after Chopra and Kaling won an auction for a pitch alongside producer Dan Goor (who is currently behind NBC series Brooklyn Nine-Nine). “Kaling, who will write the screenplay with Goor, is attached to star alongside Chopra and will potentially direct. Kaling will produce for her Kaling International, Chopra for Purple Pebble Pictures, Howard Klein for 3 Arts, alongside Goor.”
Mindy is already busy at work with her new coming-of-age Netflix series, while Chopra recently appeared in A Kid Like Jake.
We still don’t have any plot details or who is playing what, but we do know this is one big blockbuster in the making.
