Millions of people around the world have stopped to gather and watch the wedding of the year between American actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Meghan, wearing a custom Givenchy gown designed by Clare Waight Keller, has married Prince Harry in a ceremony at Windsor Castle in front of 600 people, including family, friends, government officials and members of the public. Meghan entered the church alone but was met by her father-in-law Prince Charles half way down the aisle who escorted her to the altar where Prince Harry was waiting.
Now that they are married, the pair’s official title (bestowed upon them by the Queen) has been revealed. They will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The couple are currently on their 25-minute procession around town to greet the thousands of members of the public who have gathered to celebrate their happy day.
