It finally happened. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper took to the stage at the 2019 Oscars. Their relationship has been brewing ever since A Star is Born was released late last year and now, finally, the ‘couple’ shared an intimate four-minute performance of ‘Shallow’ (which won best Original Song at the Oscars) at the ceremony. Although they both performed live last month for Gaga’s Las Vegas residency – but this was next-level – just check Twitter…
The duo, who were sat front row in the audience, went up on stage hand-in-hand together. Cooper serenaded into the first verse while Gaga sat down at the piano and followed his lead. It ended with the pair both sat on the piano bench, cheek-to-cheek, slowly belting out the final notes of the song. Swoon.
Cooper had said how nervous he was, but honestly, you couldn’t tell one bit. It was like they were the only two in the whole auditorium.
