After relentless royal baby watching, the day has finally come. Baby Sussex is here and we couldn’t be more excited for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Baby boy Sussex was born at 5:26am UK time on 6 May 2019 weighing 7lbs 30z, after Markle went into labour in the early hours of Monday morning with the Duke by her side.
Ever since Meghan Markle went into full blown maternity leave, we’ve been hovering over every royal watch site around, waiting for the news to drop – which was guestimated to be late April or early May after the Duchess went on maternity leave on 18 March. Her last function was on Commonwealth Day, but she has been doing a couple of ‘behind-the-scenes’ private appointments.
And now with Baby boy Sussex finally here, we’re waiting to see him in the flesh..! OK, OK, we’ll give them some breathing space…It is expected that the royal family will be introduced to baby boy Sussex and then after a few days, we’ll get our turn.
In the meantime, Prince Harry made a quick public statement shortly after, saying: “We have a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It has been the most amazing experience I could have ever possibly imagined. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. I’m absolutly thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support out there. It has been amazing.”
Awww, PASS US THE TISSUES. Congratulations once more to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
