‘How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days’ is going to become a TV show

It's happening!
Are you ready for some frosting? Everyone's favourite cult classic rom-com is set to make its way to our TV screens...

Romantic comedy lovers around the world, rejoice! There’s a new version of our favourite noughties film, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, in the works, — and no, it’s not a part two.

The 2003 film (how has it been 16 years already?!), stars Kate Hudson (as Andie Anderson) and Matthew McConaughey (as Benny Boo Boo, who could forget), will officially be adapted into a television series under Paramount Television and Quibi.

The remake has been a distant dream of so many of us for so long, and it will probably be hitting our TV screens in about two years from now.

Whilst there still hasn’t been much news surrounding the release, what we do know about the forthcoming project is that it Guy Branum will write it.

Branum tweeted about the news, and said: “We were all certain you could not make a good romantic comedy anymore because print media is dead and RomCom ladies have to work at magazines, but against the tides of history, Quibi & Paramount have agreed to let me re-write How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days,” he wrote. Next, he added a gif of McConaughey in the movie, adding: “I will be observing and consulting numerous photos of shirtless Matthew McConaughey to properly research this task.”

Ahh. We can’t wait for another rendition of Carly Simon’s You’re So Vain.

Also, Big Little Lies might be getting a spinoff and we’re SO hoping it does.
