Gossip Girl’s costume designer is confirmed for the reboot

Embellished headbands, Constance uniforms and sequined dresses – it's all coming back...

Good morning Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here — oops. We meant good morning Middle East, Buro. here. And we’ve got great news.

The mourning of one of our favourite TV shows, Gossip Girl, is coming to an end soon as an official reboot was confirmed last year. Now, we know that the fashion is going to be the same — perhaps even better.

The costume designer behind the show’s iconic looks, Eric Daman, has revealed to Fashionista that his latest project was in fact the upcoming Gossip Girl reboot. Although production is currently on hold due to the global pandemic, we’re definitely going to tune in to the HBO Max special once it hits the small screen.

“The casting is looking really awesome and it’s surreal to be invited to be a part of it,” Daman says. “I think it’s gonna be exciting — it’s definitely going to be a challenge, which I love.”
