The 2019 Golden Globe Awards officially kicked off awards season earlier this week and now we’re excited for what’s yet to come. Next up on the awards calendar is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts ceremony (more commonly known as the BAFTAs) which will be held in London next month. And we finally have the full list of nominees.
The Favourite outdid the rest of the pack with a total of 12 nominations, and behind it came Bohemian Rhapsody, First Man, Roma and A Star Is Born with seven nominations apiece. Interestingly, Bradley Cooper is the first person to get five nominations across five different categories in one single year, reports Variety. Plus, Nadine Labaki’s Capernaum is up for best foreign film, marking the first time an Arab female has been nominated in the category.
