In 2016, the fashion industry across the globe mourned the passing of legendary fashion photographer Bill Cunningham, who unfortunately suffered a stroke at the age of 87. Two years after the unfortunate passing of the pioneer of the street style fashion photography movement, Cunningham’s legacy is still felt today.
Overnight, news emerged that Cunningham was working on a secret memoir during his final days including images and details of his extraordinary life.
Titled Fashion Climbing, the book will feature jaw-dropping revelations, picturesque snapshots, stories about his foray into the hat-making business and fashion journalism and an intimate glimpse into the fashion world he documented for decades. Complete in a beautiful powder blue cover, the book will consist of over 200 pages.
