AA meta and Erma Gallery are revolutionizing digital art with the new digital avatar AIRI.

Dubai’s art scene shimmered with innovation and creativity at Art Dubai 2024, where Erma Gallery showcased a fascinating blend of traditional and cutting-edge artworks. Among the highlights of the event was the introduction of Abu Dhabi’s meta-artist, AIRI.

AIRI, a virtual being and a digital artist, was born in Abu Dhabi and has been nurtured and curated by the visionary minds at AA Meta. Beyond just pixels on a screen, AIRI embodies a crusade for environmental consciousness and the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the MENA region. Her virtual avatar, sculpted through the technological marvels of Unreal Engine 5 and AA Meta’s pioneering prompt engineering, transcends the digital divide to deliver a poignant message on sustainability.

At the core of AIRI’s mission lies a vision of blending between nature and technological advancements. She aspires not only to create art but also to collaborate with established and emerging artists, forging alliances that spark impactful creations and conversations.

During Art Dubai 2024, Erma Gallery also proudly unveiled Philip Colbert’s iconic collection, ‘The Lobster,’ to Dubai’s discerning art enthusiasts for the very first time. Among the collection’s treasures stood ‘The Uber LobstarBot,’ a performative robot that danced its way into the hearts of onlookers.

But the excitement didn’t stop there. In a groundbreaking collaboration with AA Meta, Colbert announced the imminent launch of the first-ever digital gallery within the virtual realm of Fortnite, breaking down the barriers between the physical and digital worlds with every click.
