When thinking about the top artists of all time, the names Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh usually come to mind, and with good reason given their series of artistic masterpieces and iconic paintings.
This month, Dubai is set to open the doors to an acclaimed art exhibition that will hold some of those creations and will allow the public to get up close and personal to the works of Vincent Van Gogh.
Titled Van Gogh Alive — The Experience, the exhibition recently made headlines in Abu Dhabi and the multi-sensory experience will now make its way to Dubai Design District. You can expect to find over 3,000 images of some of the artist’s most famous paintings as well as other inspirational images (think Sunflowers, Self-Portrait, The Starry Night, Bedroom in Arles and Wheatfield with Crows).
