Alexa Chung named the new face of L’Oréal Professionnel

A big coup for the British beauty
Alexa Chung has started the new year off on a rather glossy note with the announcement of a big new beauty campaign. Here's what you need to know...

Landing a contract with L’Oréal is big business and British “It” girl Alexa Chung has done just that.

Overnight, it was revealed that the 34-year-old is the beauty brand’s newest international spokesperson. In her role, Chung will front the L’Oréal Professionnel line — specifically, the Parisian Nudes colour line and Pro Fiber, the brand’s hair repair line.

This is not the first time the pair has collaborated, with L’Oréal responsible for the hair at Chung’s eponymous clothing line debut in May of last year, and again during PFW in September.

In a statement the brand said of the star, “A fashion designer, TV presenter, model, creative consultant and writer, Alexa Chung is one of the most recognisable style icons of her generation. She is the most Parisian of Londoners and her effortlessly chic style strongly resonates with L’Oréal Professionnel’s fashion and Parisian anchorage.”

The campaigns will be released this year. In the meantime, discover Neom Organics’ new scent which has just landed in Dubai
