Shiseido partners up with the Emirates Red Crescent to support those healthcare heroes

With Shiseido's latest initiative, putting people first is at the forefront...

The world is currently facing a pandemic and whilst it’s particularly a difficult global situation, Shiseido has always been there for people. One of the beauty brand’s core values, People First, has revealed exceptional measures to give back to the community — and there’s no better time than now to give back.

With efforts to support the global community during this challenging time, the Shiseido Group in the Middle East has teamed up with the Emirates Red Crescent to support those healthcare heroes in the country. The brand also distributed its popular skincare products.

“We understand that it is a tough time for our heroes as they are working around the clock to save lives and safeguard the community,” says Mohamad Al Khalil, Managing Director of Shiseido Group Middle East. “Working in such an environment leaves the healthcare team with limited time for self-care, and thus having limited access to essential self-care products.”

Also, the Shiseido group across Europe, Middle East and Africa launched an initiative, titled The People First Initiative from Inside Out. These exceptional measures include a donation of 1 million euros to the Red Cross (the donation is split between France, Italy, Spain, Germany and UK), as well as will provide assistance with children’s school assignments for those employees working from home.
