With a client portfolio that includes some of the most popular names in the industry including Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham and Alexa Chung, Lisa Eldridge‘s pro makeup artistry has earned her some well-deserved time in the spotlight.
The British beauty mogul first started gaining popularity in 2015, when she became Lancôme’s Creative Director.
Now, Eldridge is finally releasing her own collection that includes a limited-edition range of cruelty-free lipsticks (three to be exact), all within the red family: Velvet Morning (a bright orange-red), Velvet Jazz (deep brick shade) and Velvet Ribbon (a fire red with a blue base).
According to Fashionista, Eldridge made a statement and said: “I often dream about makeup, and I dreamt about this product several years ago. Inspired by my dream, I did a shoot a few years ago where I stuck actual red velvet onto a model’s lips. It was a fun shoot but not very comfortable for the model. I always loved the quote by surrealist writer and poet, Andre Breton ‘Objects seen in dreams should be manufactured and put on sale.’ I really wanted to launch with something which was a collectable one-off, something different — and these incredible lipsticks are just that.”
Lisa Eldridge’s lipsticks will be available for worldwide shipping on lisaeldridge.com from November 19, 2018.
