2018 is officially the year for designer beauty collaborations. Now more than ever, big name designers are lending their hand (and names) to collaborations with some of the world’s biggest beauty companies — Nars x Erdem, Proenza Schouler x Lancôme, Karl Lagerfeld x ModelCo and Valentino x L’Oréal among them. However one fashion-led collection is not enough for L’Oréal with news breaking today that the beauty giant has teamed up with French designer Isabel Marant on an exclusive collaboration.
The collection is due out in September (on the day of her S/S ’19 collection, to be exact) and will include products for the face, lips and eyes. In a statement, the designer said, “I’ve always interpreted fashion’s ready-to-wear literally, and I couldn’t be more thrilled at this chance to do that in makeup with an on-the-go collection with L’Oréal Paris. It has been a dream to get right inside makeup innovation and to offer this collection of day-to-night, natural-to-smoking makeup essentials I have always wanted.”
Bring on September.
