When Fenty Beauty hit the market back in 2017, Rihanna not only changed the way the world views beauty (thanks to a ground-breaking range of 40 shades of foundation for ‘every woman), but she’s kept us on our toes for the past three (exhilarating) years with game changing product drop after game changing product drop faster than one can press, ‘add to cart.’
And now, another week, another Fenty Beauty launch. Yes, there’s no slowing down in 2020 for the popular brand as Rihanna gives make up nerds worldwide another ‘first’ shortly after the release of Fenty Beauty’s first-ever mascara just earlier this month. The brand broke the news on Instagram earlier today revealing that they were expanding into — drum roll, please — pencil eyeliner. “We just levelled up our eye game! #FLYPENCIL, our first-ever eye pencil, is droppin’ in 20 smooth colour-intense shades of shimmers, mattes, metallics, and glitters for your flyest lines yet! Get ’em on JANUARY 16 exclusively at fentybeauty.com, @Sephora, @harveynichols, @bootsuk, and #SephorainJCP.”
Dubbed Flypencil, the creamy, water-resistant eyeliner will be introduced in a vast array of delicious colour offerings; from a frosty light grey “Moon Dunes” and white metallic “Chromwrecker” to a deep brown matte “In Big Truffle” and an ocean blue colour “Sea About It” to name a few. It features a twist-top tip, and just like Fenty Beauty’s liquid Flyliner, the new pencil eyeliner is also packaged in a triangle-shaped tube for an easier grip.
Each of the Flypencils will retail for $22 USD (approximately Dhs80) and will be available in-store and online at Sephora, as well as at the Fenty Beauty website, starting January 16.
