If there’s a name in the beauty game that is currently paving the way for luxury approaches to artistic beauty practices, it’s Peter Philips. The Creative and Image Director of Christian Dior makeup has truly immersed himself in the fashion culture and applied those inspirations to creating some of the most disruptive beauty looks.
He’s taken a classic beauty practice — the smoky eye — and transformed it into a play of colour, perfect for the season.
Using the newly-launched Dior Backstage Rosewood Eye Palette, Philips is giving us no excuse to glam up for our next game night/conference on Zoom by showing us the easy steps to create a richly pigmented smoky eye with metallic shades.
The palette features an eye primer, eight powders for use as eyeshadow or liner – which three of those are shimmer shades, three are ultra-pigmented matte shades, complemented by a highlighting hue and a sculpting shadow.
All you’ll need to do is to follow the steps straight from the beauty maestro himself, Peter Philips, below…
