The star just made her official debut at the film festival this year and she came ready to take the spotlight on the red carpet. And no, it’s not because of her sartorial choices.
We finally know the secret to her latest beauty look and now, it all makes sense.
The American singer-turned-actress and producer attended the photocall for her latest film, The Dead Don’t Die, and proving that all great beauty looks starts with the skin, Selena was covered in Marc Jacobs Beauty‘s first-ever skincare product, the Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturising Gel Crème. 
Created with powerful pineapple enzymes, antioxidant-rich starfruit and dragonfruit extracts, the nourishing formula is basicslly a makeup-ready canvas.
The man responsible for Selena’s beauty look, Hung Vanngo (who spoke to Buro. Middle East last year about beauty trends and the brand’s then-new So Shameless foundation) then created a sublte smokey look. Here’s how he achieved it and you can too by following these simple steps…
On the face…
The celebrity make-up artist used the Shameless Foundation with the Marc Jacobs Beauty’s new Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick. He then followed by a dusting of the Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder for a soft-focus, flawless glow. To add a little more colour to her look, Hung used the O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect Tan and Air Blush Soft Glow Duo for a warmer complexion.
On the eyes…
To create Selena’s soft metallic smoky eye-look, Hung used cool tones from the Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Steel(etto), and followed up with a golden brown shimmer shade from the brand’s Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner collection. To finish it off, all you need it a little mascara and a few coats of the Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara will do the trick.
On the lips…
Hung applied the Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick in Shakedown to add the final touch of colour.
