There’s no doubt that there’s an overflowing abundance of talent flooding out of the Middle East. Salama Khalfan and Ghizlan Guenez concurred with the statement and joined forces to launch ‘SAWA’ – an initiative that brought together the likes of regional designers, business owners, creatives and artists under one roof – and now, a celebrity duo is showcasing their support towards regional talent, more specifically, Lebanese creatives.
Palestinian DJs, Simi and Haze (also known as Sama and Haya Khadra) was spotted fronting pieces to support talents from Lebanon, with all proceeds going to charity. Simi was captured championing merchandise (more specifically, the Laurel Soap Official Stamp sweater) from Ya Habibi Market, an online streetwear store that supports artists the Middle East.
Born following the tragic explosion of the August 4, 2020 explosion in Beirut’s port area, Ya Habibi Market aims to unite talents in the region to help those who have been affected by the blast.
