Saudi Arabia’s Al Ula to re-open in October

Plan ahead as Saudi Arabia's Al Ula will officially re-open and welcome visitors from October 2020...

Travelling may not be on your agendas at the moment but one thing’s for sure: once we travel again, it will not be the same. As countries across the world start to open their borders, there are new health and safety protocols to follow when travelling to your desired destination.

However, you can plan ahead (several months ahead, in fact) to prepare yourselves for your next getaway and at this point, there’s no better place than Saudi Arabia‘s Al Ula. Here’s why.

The country’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site will officially re-open and welcome visitors from October 2020. Just a short two-hour plane ride away, panic will be kept at a minimum (and if you want to brave a road trip instead, it’ll take you a good 19 hours).

The historic site has become the region’s must-visit culture and heritage destination and whilst it was previously open to Saudi residents and invite-only visitors during the Winter at Tantora Festival, Al Ula’s landmarks will, for the first time, be accessible all year round.

Visitors will be able to access the main heritage sites (trust us when we say it is stunning!), as well us experience a range of cultural touring options.

We know where we’ll be heading in October…

Now, you can un-cancel your summer plans with this new Cala De La Cruz collection on Matchesfashion.
