We’re certainly spoiled for choice in Dubai when it comes to new finding a new gym, a new class or a new experience to get our fitness juices flowing. And now that the temperatures in the city are starting to cool down, there’s no better time to get back outside to exercise.
Next month, a major yoga festival is set to make its return, and it’s open to all levels of experience and enthusiasm.
Taking place at the Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre, Yogafest Dubai is returning with a two-day schedule that will see fitness-seekers come together to experience free yoga sessions, wellness and sustainability.
With more than 150 classes and workshops by local and international teachers, there’s plenty to do. And, you’ll also be able to attend a slew of talks that will be centred around healthy living, nutrition and yoga philosophy, plus shop for eco-friendly products from sustainably-focused vendors.
This year, the festival has also organised two new tents, the Shakti Tent and the Al Jalila Foundation Tent, which are open to women only and determined individuals. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Al Jalila Foundation’s Ta’alouf program (which supports carers of children with special needs).
Yogafest Dubai is set to take place from November 15-17, 2018, at Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre. To register, just visit eventbrite.com. You might want to act quickly though as spaces are a first come, first seated basis!
