The Sussexes are back! They're scheduled to deliver an important message at Global Citizen’s star-studded VAX LIVE event...

On May 8, some of the world’s biggest names are coming together for Global Citizen’s VAX  Live: The Concert to Reunite the World, which will be a globally televised concert to promote COVID-19 vaccines, as well as increase public confidence in the shots.

The roster includes a plethora of A-listers including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – who are the event’s campaign chairs – and will deliver an important message about vaccine equity.

“Over the past year, our world has experienced pain, loss, and struggle—together. Now we need to recover and heal—together,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement. “We can’t leave anybody behind. We will all benefit, we will all be safer when everyone everywhere has equal access to the vaccine. We must pursue equitable vaccine distribution, and in that, restore faith in our common humanity. This mission couldn’t be more critical or important.”

The duo adds to an impressive line-up that will see Selena Gomez as the host of the program and will include a special featured message from President Joe Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris, as part of their “We Can Do This” national initiative to increase uptake in the COVID-19 vaccine.

Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Gayle King, Jimmy Kimmel, Nomzamo Mbatha, Olivia Munn, and Sean Penn will also appear in the broadcast.

The Vax Live concert will also include musical performances from Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and H.E.R.

Watch Vax Live on Saturday, May 8, on ABC, ABC News Live, CBS, YouTube, iHeartMedia radio stations, and the iHeartRadio app at 8 p.m. ET. In the UAE, that will be on Sunday, May 9, at 4 a.m.
