JOSETTE BLOOMS AGAIN: DUBAI’S BELOVED DINING SPOT GETS A GARDEN-INFUSED MAKEOVER (AND WE LOVE IT).

Dubai foodies, get ready: Josette, the much-loved DIFC gem, is taking a brief pause this November to prep for its most vibrant chapter yet, and trust us, it’s worth the wait. Inspired by A Season in Bloom, the iconic restaurant is returning with a fresh Parisian garden flair, a botanical twist on gastronomy, and an experience that promises to be as Instagram-worthy as it is palate-pleasing.

Under the culinary guidance of Chefs Burcu Cracknell and Rory Duncan, Josette’s new menu is all about the season in full bloom: light yet layered, sophisticated yet sincere. The dining ritual kicks off with a flourish: a bouquet of dried herbs, Josette-branded scissors for clipping, and a drizzle of fine olive oil for the signature bread basket. Guests get hands-on as they chop their herbs into the oil, a sensory prelude to what’s coming next.

Starters are a garden party on a plate. Think velvety Mushroom Velouté, a truffle-kissed Salade de Mais with three textures of corn, and a warm Parisian Squids & Prawns salad with tomato jus and fresh basil. The vibrant Salade de Homard (lobster, avocado, tomato) evokes a Parisian afternoon, while Pomme de Terre Écrasée elevates comfort food to an art form. Each bite whispers freshness, seasonality, and a little bit of magic.

Mains take refinement to the next level. From the perfectly grilled lamb chops of the Épaule d’Agneau to the 24-hour Côte Courte short rib with apricot and foie gras, every dish tells a story of craftsmanship. Seafood lovers will swoon over the Sole de Douvres with classic Béarnaise sauce, while pasta fans can try Josette’s cheeky modern take on escargot, or as the chefs call it, IYKYK pasta.

Desserts? Pure Parisian poetry. From honey, chocolate, and cheese cakes to delicate éclairs, every bite is decadence personified. The pièce de résistance is a playful strawberry yoghurt duet designed for two: hers, a white yoghurt ice cream; his, a rich chocolate one; both served with strawberries and raspberries. Romantic, bold, and joyfully unexpected, it’s dessert as a shared moment.

And the ambiance? Josette is turning up the energy with its new live entertainment lineup, featuring Philippe Krier, aka “The Hat Guy.” This viral Parisian guitarist, singer, and entertainer brings charm, charisma, and undeniable fun to the room, bridging sophistication and pure joy.

“Josette’s next chapter is all about innovation through simplicity,” says Omar Saideh, Founder of Josette and Orange Holding. “We’re returning to the roots of dining with a fresh, garden-inspired concept, a first for Dubai. Every detail reflects this direction: from vibrant dishes to cocktails blooming with herbs, florals, and seasonal botanicals, capturing nature’s rhythm with modern Parisian elegance.”

The refreshed menu debuts in the fourth week of November at Josette, ICD Brookfield Place, as part of A Season in Bloom, a multi-sensory experience uniting gastronomy, design, cocktails, and live performance.
