Blng, the AI-powered design tool is changing how jewelry gets made by turning sketches, photos, and even vague ideas into photorealistic renderings in seconds.

By now, AI has made itself at home in our lives. It writes your emails, suggests what to watch and shop, and even meticulously curates your social media feed with the funniest memes. AI isn’t just here; the virtual entity has infiltrated our lives more than we realize or want to admit. As if AI wasn’t doing enough already, it is now also designing jewelry, or at least helping designers to do so.

How, you ask? With the special AI-powered jewelry designing app: Blng.

Meet Blng, the app that’s quietly flipping the script on jewelry design by giving creators AI-powered tools to sketch, iterate, and render their wildest ideas in seconds. Founded by creative-tech duo Valérie Leblond and Dumëne ComploiBlng was born from a deeply personal design challenge: Comploi was trying to create an engagement ring for Leblond. Cute, right? This process inspired Comploi to design a system that can quickly and easily translate hand sketches into 3-D jewelry renderings.

Eventually, the duo built a tool that can take just about anything—a napkin sketch, a half-thought-out photo, a keyword scribbled at 3 a.m.—and turn it into photorealistic renderings that actually look like they belong on someone’s finger, wrist, or neck. What used to take hours of sketching, revising, and digital modeling can now be accomplished almost instantly.

Toggle controls give designers the ability to dial up or down the AI’s involvement. The company, now twelve people deep and based in Los Angeles, isn’t playing small ball. Since launching in 2023, Blng has already locked down $3 million in investment and taken home the LVMH Innovation Award. That win came with some rather high-end perks: mentorship, access to the LVMH brand family, and a collaboration with Tiffany & Co., no less.

The app’s next big swing? Virtual try-ons, animated product visuals, and digital templates that jewelry houses can use to market smarter, not harder. It’s a full creative suite disguised as an intuitive interface. A monthly subscription starts at $49, and early access is already rolling out ahead of the full iOS and web launches.
