Flora and fauna have always played a vital role in Van Cleef & Arpels’ creations and for its latest collection, titled Lucky Spring, the maison is paying tribute to the season of rebirth with ladybugs, flowers and leaves.
Happily taking center stage of the enchanting new collection, the protagonists come alive with colour motifs and a playful aesthetic that makes the pieces subtle for everyday wear.
Adding a vibrant touch to the already-captivating garden of Van Cleef & Arpels, the collection celebrates Spring with warm rose gold, mother of pearl, red carnelian and black onyx – each selected and matched to mimic a poetic rendering of nature’s shades, a nod to the maison’s precision and attention to detail.
The beloved ladybug appears in the Lucky Spring long necklace (crafted with rose gold, white mother-of-pearl, carnelian and onyx) with 15 motifs, alongside three bracelets (one with 5 motifs, the other with closed wings of a ladybug and the final one with open wings), each piece reflecting the exuberance of the season.
Completing the Lucky Spring collection is a pair of earrings and a clip that portray the joyful ladybugs, along with flower and leaf motifs – further highlighting the interchange of textures and hues.
