SCULPTING TIME IN SAPPHIRE: RICHARD MILLE’S RM 75-01 CRYSTAL REVOLUTION!

Richard Mille continues to push the boundaries of haute horology with the new RM 75-01 Flying Tourbillon Sapphire, a striking trilogy of timepieces that reimagines transparency and architecture. The collection features three exclusive editions, two limited to 10 pieces each, combining clear and coloured sapphire, and a third in pure clear sapphire, limited to just 15 pieces.

Crafted as sculptural masterpieces, each watch is housed in a painstakingly machined sapphire case that takes over 1,000 hours to complete. Its skeletonised design reveals a bespoke movement tailored specifically for sapphire, showcasing a flying tourbillon and a flying barrel suspended without upper bridges, adding visual weightlessness and technical complexity.

Inspired by gothic architecture, the RM 75-01 evokes ribbed vaults and domes through sweeping arcs and microblasted red gold frames resting on titanium pillars. SuperLuminova accents illuminate the calibre, turning each timepiece into a beacon of mechanical art.

Beyond their visual appeal, the watches embody a perfect balance of transparency, lightness, and strength, each component finely finished and assembled with architectural precision. With the RM 75-01 collection, Richard Mille sculpts time itself in sapphire.
