In May last year, Yoox Net-a-Porter announced that it was introducing a selection of Cartier watches to both Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter. Understandably, watch aficionados were thrilled with the new ability to purchase the brand’s Panthère and Santos de Cartier pieces on site. So much so that according to WWD, the first watch on Net-a-Porter sold out within two minutes of its launch.
Now, building on that success, the group has just announced that it will now permanently host Cartier on both sites with extended collection offerings. From tomorrow, you’ll be able to purchase the Panthère, Tank, Ballon Bleu and Baignoire styles online at NAP and the Santos de Cartier, Tank, Ballon Bleu, Calibre de Cartier and Drive de Cartier styles at Mr Porter.
Speaking with WWD, Elizabeth von der Goltz, NAP’s Global Buying Director, said of the offering, “There is a mix of steel and gold styles as well as precious pieces, so there really is something for everyone.”
Just when we thought Net-a-Porter deliveries couldn’t get any more exciting…
