For the first time, a new version of Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked timepiece is unveiled in an entirely new ceramic case — and it’s a show-stopping piece.
Combining the elegance of a black ceramic case and a dial design that is as intricate as it is impressive, the reimagined Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked watch comes with a black ceramic case and bracelet — both hand-finished with the Manufacture’s trademark alternation of satin-brushing and polishing — and a double balance wheel mechanism to improve the watch’s precision and stability.
Embedded with horological mastery, the watch comes complete with a titanium caseback (presenting a new engraving: “Royal Oak Double Balancier”) and blackened openworked bridges, a speciality that has been adapted by the brand since the 1930s.
The Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked timepiece will be exclusively available in Audemars Piguet’s Boutiques as of December 2020.
